TURRET DESIGN PERFORMANCE
The integrated positive Y-axis structure offers superior rigidity and performance, making it ideal for heavy-duty operations. This design is particularly advantageous over the interpolation Y-axis in certain machining applications.
Key benefits of the positive Y-axis structure include: Smoother and more precise plane contour processing. Enhanced capability for machining compound curved surfaces and contours.
In plane milling, the positive Y-axis demonstrates clear advantages. Unlike the interpolation Y-axis, which requires simultaneous movement of both the X and Y axes to create a straight line, the positive Y-axis moves perpendicularly to the X-axis in a single, straightforward motion. This results in a higher level of flatness and a noticeably brighter, smoother finish on the milled plane.
DIRECT DRIVE SYNCHRONOUS ELECTRIC SPINDLE
The direct drive synchronous electric spindle offers a range of benefits, including high rigidity, high torque, and improved efficiency. This leads to better surface finishes and more precise indexing. These features are particularly advantageous for machine tools where performance and precision are paramount.
Key characteristics of machine tools equipped with direct-drive electric spindles include:
● A magnetic ring incremental encoder (sine and cosine) that provides positioning accuracy within 20 arc seconds and C-axis indexing accuracy within 40 arc seconds.
● Fast start-stop response speeds, which reduce machine tool downtime and significantly enhance production capacity.
● Low cutting load, which contributes to energy savings and power efficiency, thereby protecting the machine tools and extending their service life.
● The ability to effectively eliminate spindle vibration, resulting in better balance, smoother finishes, and improved surface quality of workpieces. This advantage is particularly evident in hard turning operations where surface roughness can reach as low as Ra 0.2μm, making turning a viable alternative to grinding.
● A spindle motor equipped with a cooling system that minimizes the impact of thermal displacement, ensuring that the spindle operates at a constant temperature. This helps maintain nose-end runout accuracy within 0.002mm, ensuring more stable and consistent precision.
● A rear-mounted direct-drive synchronous spindle, which allows for easier installation and maintenance.
Additionally, all major machine parts are constructed from HT300 cast iron, known for its excellent shock absorption capacity, further enhancing the overall performance and durability of the machine tools.

HEAVY-DUTY CAST IRON BASE AND COMPONENTS
To minimize distortion and improve shock absorption, all castings undergo optimization through finite element analysis (FEA).
The primary series of lathe castings are strengthened with ribs to boost both rigidity and thermal stability.
Additionally, the compact, symmetrical design of the headstock and tailstock castings further increases rigidity, ensuring precise positioning and consistent repeatability.
